Why Does ADFITECH Need Your Information

In the following instances, ADFITECH may ask you to provide certain personal information in order to access certain areas of the Website:

a) Registration Information: ADFITECH may require Clients and Users of the Website to provide certain information, including name, company, title, email address, phone number, and mailing address, which ADFITECH will use to verify that Client or User meets the minimum criteria for accessing Services through the Website. Contact information and other Client-specific information will only be used by ADFITECH internally in order to operate the Website and to communicate with Clients. Client-specific information is available to other Clients only in unique cases where the impacted Client has expressly granted permission.

b) Client Communications:  ADFITECH may use Client contact information, including e-mail and mailing addresses in order to : (i) communicate regarding completed uploads; (ii) notify Clients of enhancements and adjustments to Website features and functionality; (iii) inform Clients about service and product updates; (iv) advise Clients about security and system patches; (v) promulgate regulatory changes and changes to ADFITECH’s Privacy Policy and Rules; and (vi) notify Clients regarding website enhancements and functionality upgrades.

c) Transactional Information: Information relating to Client transactions, such as contact information, file upload, and document transfer will remain confidential, and will be used by ADFITECH for the purpose of delivering services as requested by the Client. Uploaded documents will only be disclosed as otherwise required by contract, law, or regulation.

d) Technical and Usage Information: To successfully manage this web site, enhance its functionality, and ensure that activities and communications performed by Clients on this site are convenient, dependable and secure, ADFITECH may collect, store and use technical and Website usage information relating to a Client’s or User’s website activities. Such information includes, but is not limited to, the IP (Internet Protocol) address, the Operating System, the Physical Location and Browser Information, from which a Client or User accesses the Website, which is used only internally by ADFITECH as required for server operation and other technical uses. This information is not disclosed to other Clients or any third parties.  Industry standards are currently evolving and we may not separately respond to or take any action with respect to a “do not track” configuration set in your internet browser.

At certain points on the Website, the User may have the opportunity to contact ADFITECH and request information. In that process, we may ask that certain personal information be provided, such as e-mail address, name, your organization, postal address and telephone and fax numbers. The information provided is used to forward requested documentation or to contact the User with information about the services in which he or she has expressed an interest. Users to this site may always choose not to provide personal information while using the website, although a decision not to provide such information may preclude said User from utilizing certain services offered through the Website.

ADFITECH further reserves the right to release any information concerning any Client if that Client participates (or is reasonably suspected of participating) in any illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant, or other court order. ADFITECH reserves the right to use non-personal aggregated information (such as cumulative User demographics) for other business purposes. Lastly, ADFITECH reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who may be using our website, servers, or anything available through this web site for illegal activities, and to report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement agencies for investigation or prosecution.
